This is Part 1 of the comic adaptation of the Battlestar Galactica TV series premiere episode "Saga of a Star World". This is a recolored and expanded version of the earlier publication "Marvel Comics Super Special Vol 1 8". Artist Ernie Colon did not have proper reference material for most of the actors when he drew the original version. An attempt has been made to fix most of these anachronisms in the second version. On the second page, Baltar was originally drawn as a bald man. Hair was added in the monthly version.
Pages 5 and 6 of the Super Special have been replaced by completely new art. Starting on page 7, Colonel Tigh was originally drawn to resemble actor Richard Hatch (Apollo) instead of Terry Carter, and wore a pilot's uniform instead of a command uniform. His likeness and costume were altered in all panels he appears in for the monthly issue.
Pages 8 and 9 of the Super Special have been replaced by completely new art. On the original version of page 9, Baltar was mistakenly drawn to resemble actor Lorne Greene (Adama).
On page 10, Apollo was originally drawn with shorter hair, which was colored yellow in the first two panels he appears in, but black in the third. In the revised version, his hair is black and has been altered to look more like Richard Hatch's haircut in the series. Pages 11 and 12 of the Super Special have been replaced by completely new art. Pages 17 and 18 of the Super Special have been replaced by completely new art.

This comic book is in used condition. Comic is complete with cover and all pages attached. This comic has very few flaws that warrant a NM grade.
