WONDER WOMAN 1984 'Feels' Like an 80s Movie

Speaking in an Entertainment Weekly roundtable with the rest of the film's principal cast and director Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 star Pedro Pascal (who plays Maxwell Lord in the film) says the sequel would feel right at home in the1980s period in which it's set.

"I was born in 1975, and this movie reminds me of something that would have come out in the 80s, that kind of pure delight," Pascal said in conversation with Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Kirsten Wiig (Cheetah), and director Jenkins. "There is something that feels more precious about this experience than other experiences of mine, cause I really don't want to tell you anything about it."

"I don't want you to just experience what the surprises are in terms of the plot and what all the characters go through, the new adventure that you're on, how Steve Trevor comes back, how she becomes the Cheetah... It's also the way it looks, the way it feels, the music, the action... Just wait."
